TRIUMPH looks set to present a new 2013 model at the Tridays festival in Garmisch Neukirchen, Austria on June 22.
Although the details are sketchy at the moment, the rumour appears to be confirmed by the fact that the main event on the evening of the first day of the three-day event is listed as “World Presentation – A new Triumph is born” on the official schedule.
Which model will it be? Well, we know that there are several under development. The forthcoming Trophy 1200 tourer has already been spied, as has the 2013 Daytona 675 and 2013 Street Triple – both extensively restyled. There's also a new version of the Tiger 1050 due for launch imminently.
Of all these, the 2013 Daytona and Street Triple are likely to be the first to appear. The bikes have already undergone their official emissions testing and been listed on the California Air Research Board (CARB) website, and have been seen testing many times over the last year or so.
